The former Chairman of the Tonkolili District Football Association, Mohamed Sorie Jalloh has on the 4th of September 2024 donated footballs and a fiscal cash  to four Female Football Clubs in the District.

The donation took place in Magburaka in the presence of various footballing stakeholders.

This generosity ignites hope and inspires success in Sierra Leone's Grassroots Football Community, according to Mr Jalloh.

The donation is a testament to his commitment to supporting and uplifting the grassroot football Tonkolili District and by extension Sierra Leone.

As an Executive Committee Officer of the Sierra Leone Football Association and former Chairman of the Tonkolili District Football Association, Jalloh understands the importance of providing resources and opportunities for young athletes to excel in the sport they love.

The donation of cash and footballs will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the players of the various female football clubs that benefitted.

Tonkolili Queens, Central Queens, Hydro Queens, Rowalla Queens and Sabereh Queens are the four Female Football clubs that benefitted.

The gift from Jalloh is to allow the girls to improve their skills and compete at national level.

Many football administrators have praised the former Chairman and described  gestures like this that help nurture and develop talent, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of football in Sierra Leone as timely and in the right direction.

The members of Tonkolili Female Football Clubs, as well as the entire community of Tonkolili District, are grateful for Mr Jalloh's generosity and continued support. His dedication to grassroots football is truly commendable and serves as an inspiration to others in the football community.

Mr Abdul Pascal Gbla, Chairman Tonkolili District Football Association said,
