Augu B comes from a musically inclined family. Her mother, Emma Sesay, is a trained teacher, while her father, Abubakar Mohamed Kabia, also known as Humble Star Light, is a teacher, radio journalist, songwriter, and movie director. It was under her father's guidance that Augu B developed her love for music.

After recording her first two songs at Cool D Recording Studio, Augu B filmed the music video for "Me Yoni" with Clean Lens Pictures at just six years old. She released her first album on February 14, 2017, at Mile 91, with an official album launch held in December of last year, supported by SLBC and ASPA.

Augu B has become a household name in Makeni and beyond, topping the charts on Radio Gbafth's Mile 91 music top 5 and AMZA's Radio top 6 music programs. She has performed at numerous events across towns and villages in Sierra Leone. Her catchy jingle for the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) has further solidified her popularity in the region.

According to her mother, Augu B's talent became evident at the age of three when she began imitating popular artists Vida and Chubby Asa in Waterloo. Encouraged by her father, Augu B composed the chorus for her first song at four, which he then helped refine. This early start has led to her becoming a rising star, gaining attention from both the electronic and mass media across Sierra Leone.

To date, Augu B has released fifteen songs and six music videos. Her latest hit, "THOLon Pepeh x Internet Man (Okrrmor)," is quickly gaining traction. This song and its accompanying video highlight the importance of cleanliness and showcase a unique African setting, underscoring Augu B's commitment to high-quality production.

Her most popular tracks include "U Name Na Lollipop," "Me Teacher," "Yawo Mammy," "Me Yoni," "Augu B," and her current hit, "THOLon Pepeh."
